Sebastian a fost inmormantat in 9 august 2012 in mormantul familiei din Cimitirul Sibiu.
Parintii multumesc tuturor celor care l-au condus pe Sebastian pe ultimul sau drum.
Prim-preotului Kilian Doerr ii multumim pentru slujba de inmormintare emotionanta.
Multumirile noastre se adreseaza de asemenea tuturor celor care ne-au fost alaturi pe perioada bolii fiului nostru: familiilor noastre din Romania si Germania, colegilor si prietenilor nostri din tara si strainatate, medicilor din Cluj Napoca si Regensburg, Ministerului de Externe German, Ordinului "Barmherzige Brueder" Regensburg, Sr. M. Carmina si Ordinului Mallersdorf.
Il rugam pe bunul Dumnezeu sa-l odihneasca in pace pe Sebastian si sa-l apere ca pe unul din ingerii sai.

Sebastian este un tânăr de 19 ani din Sibiu, care în iulie 2011, la o săptămână după aflarea rezultatelor de la bacalaureat (pe care l-a promovat cu brio obţinând nota 9,18), a fost diagnosticat cu Leucemie acută limfoblastică.
După 8 luni de chimioterapie intravenoasă efectuată la Clinica de Hematologie din Cluj – Napoca, boala a recidivat, el având nevoie de transplant medular.
Testele de compatibilitate efectuate la Timişoara vor releva, dacă fratele său, Christian (13 ani) este compatibil sau nu.
În cazul în care ei sunt compatibili, se poate efectua transplantul în România, dacă nu suntem nevoiţi să căutăm un donator compatibil în ţară sau străinătate.
Vă suntem recunocători pentru orice ajutor oferit în lupta pentru salvarea vieţii fiului nostru.
